With experience in design, arts and science and a mixed cross-cultural background, I love creating things and doing whatever my curiosity drives me. I love working with talented and curious people in a fun environment to help make someone’s day a bit better.
In my free time, you might find me exploring caves, drawing, playing the guitar, baking pizzas or anything else interesting. I made the journey to Australia from Brazil in 2015, and what a ride it has been.

Architecture
Worked as an architect, lecturer, and researcher in Brazil for a few years before moving to Australia in 2015 and reinventing myself. Graduated architect and master in architectural design by the University of Sao Paulo, researching the contribution of architecture to the public use and protection of caves and karst. I have also started a master's in architecture at the UWA and I keep drawing and studying architecture for passion.
Speleology - cave research
and exploration
Many people know my passion for caves, where I spend happy times with friends exploring our underground world and topping up my batteries. Speleology, or the exploration and research of caves and karst, perfectly combines science, adventure, curiosity, and persistence. And you learn how to feel comfortable in uncomfortable situations end enjoy them.
I have been practicing for almost 30 years now, and all curiosity-fuelled trips, persistently pushing exploration to find new caves or passages, mapping and understanding our underground world and its mysteries. It helps me with curiosity, persistence, and teamwork. It teaches me to appreciate nature’s work, the light going through the forest and into the caves. I was part of the Brazilian Society of Speleology and a few caving clubs in Brazil and currently, I am a Vertical trip leader within the Western Australian Speleological Group - WASG.
I have been in many speleology conferences, congresses, and expeditions and contributed to publications and papers over these years. During my master's in architecture, I researched caves, our first human shelter, and the role of architecture in providing solutions that balance the protection of the environment, the safety of the visitor, and guarantee an authentic experience.

Photography
Photography - and drawing - has been my way to understand our world. I was first drawn into photography as a child, documenting my garage band, skateboarding friends, family, and trips. As a professional photographer, I continue my passion for creative and innovative design, offering quality and consistent imagery for clients committed to sustainability, social responsibility, cultural respect, and design quality.
